Rotary Club of Strathfield
For the eighth successive year, the Rotary Club of Strathfield dedicated its annual Golf Day and Dinner to the Trish Foundation raising an incredible over $51,000 for the Foundation’s research.

Led so capably by Rotarian Niall King, who was assisted by Ray Wilson, Les Hockley and other Rotarians, the fundraiser was a joint effort by so many and attracted support from sporting legends Ken Rosewall and Bob Simpson, Corporates, other Rotary Clubs and many generous supporters.
“The result makes the effort worthwhile, particularly when we know that every dollar is going to research,” Niall King said. “It makes the bar that much higher for 18th February 2010.”
The Rotary Club of Strathfield has contributed over $200,000 to the Trish Foundation’s funds for research to pursue the cure or preventive strategy for this debilitating disease.
“The Rotary motto ‘Service above Self’ could not be better exemplified than by Niall and his fellow Rotarians,” said Carol Langsford, Chairman of the Trish Foundation. “They selflessly give so much of themselves to so many worthy causes and the Trish Foundation is very privileged that the Rotary Club of Strathfield continues to support multiple sclerosis research. The funds raised by Niall and his team will give our research funds a great boost.”
Thank you sincerely to Niall King and the Rotary Club of Strathfield for your ongoing significant contribution to multiple sclerosis research. Thank you also to the event’s generous Sponsors and supporters – Bakehouse Garden, Excellence in Hearing, Out the Back Creations and Les Hockley, CBHF Health Fund, Joseph P Saad & Co, Ray Wilson, Niall King, Small Luxury Hotels of the World™, Waldorf Hotel The Entrance, Marcel Towers, Parramatta Leagues Club and the many generous donors.
