Kiss Goodbye to MS

Black Tie Charity Dinner

“We will keep on keeping on until a cure for MS is found.  We are inspired with everyone’s efforts in memory of beautiful Trish,” said Trish’s cousin Lisa Burling.

Outstanding support from Trish's cousins, Lisa Burling, Margie Burling and Libby Gray

Lisa was MC at a Kiss Goodbye to MS Black Tie Charity Dinner held in Wollongong on 8th April at Links Seaside.

The special fundraiser was very capably organised by Trish’s cousin Libby Gray, who was greatly supported by Margie Burling and Lisa.

“We are incredibly grateful to Trish’s cousins Libby, Margie and Lisa, the very generous donors of so many tremendous prizes, everyone who attended and generously supported the evening and also Links Seaside, who were terrific hosts,” said Trish Foundation Chairman Carol Langsford.  “Lisa did a very professional job as MC and LBPR’s pro bono contribution to the Trish Foundation is greatly valued and appreciated.”

The evening was off to a brilliant start with Dave Gray expertly playing special music on his guitar, welcoming guests during pre-dinner drinks.

Guests, resplendent in their finery, were entertained by the fabulous Swell Sisters who have worked along-side the music greats of Australia and beyond and who had the venue rocking.  Their sizzling voices, cheeky personalities and great humour delighted guests and created a wonderful atmosphere at this special fundraiser.

Links Seaside was beautifully decorated and the tables looked stunning, the feature being gorgeous table centres made and donated by one of Links Seaside’s generous residents.

The great generosity and outstanding support the Trish Foundation was blessed to receive, resulted in the funds raised for research far exceeding expectations and the Foundation’s great gratitude is extended to everyone involved.
