Raising the bar with a successful

Kiss Goodbye to MS Bar Night

The Kiss Goodbye to MS Bar Night at The Lane Sydney on 22 February 2014 was a massive success and we would like to raise our glass and say thank you to everyone who contributed and all our supporters who attended on the night.

After drumming up “virtual” interest and excitement on our Facebook page, the real-life event was full of energy and fun, but most importantly raised vital funds for research into MS and its causes.

Our Kiss Goodbye to MS Bar Night raised over $10,000. Woo hoo! This goes towards the more than $3 million we have raised already for vital research into MS.

Hosted by glamorous MC Amanda Rose, guests including tennis legend Ken Rosewall and his wife Wilma, were treated to a wonderful DJ set by Tom Reynolds and a magical mix of tricks and illusions by master magician Bill Walsh. Bill had guests mesmerised with visual feats, especially setting his wallet on fire!

As always, the Kiss Goodbye to MS Bar Night was supported by a wonderful collection of sponsors and volunteers. A huge thank you to Jim Granger at The Lane Sydney and your staff for hosting the night – the hospitality was outstanding and the food delicious.

To our volunteers who made the event happen Cindy Dock, Bree Calderwood and John Ganderton, supported by John Roberts, Tom Reynolds, Emma Forsdick, Daniel Farrar and Board member Sue Woodward – thank you!

We think it was a great night - one of our best.  We hope to see you again at the 2015 Kiss Goodbye to MS Bar Night. In the meantime, thank you for supporting our efforts to find a cure for MS.

If you were not able to make it this time, please visit our Facebook page where you can view a photo gallery of the night thanks to super cool photographer, Melissa Vuong. Social media is an increasingly important awareness raising tool for the Trish MS Research Foundation, so please do share and like our page with your family and virtual friends!

Let's stick together to Kiss Goodbye to MS.
