Bentley Sydney Celebrity Charity Golf Day 2006

For the third successive year the Trish Foundation is very indebted to Brian McMillan, Managing Director of Bentley Sydney for his extremely generous sponsorship of this special fundraiser

The event was held at Terrey Hills Golf and Country Club on 23rd March 2006 and, blessed with good weather, Brian McMillan and representatives of Bentley Sydney, Associate Sponsors and Celebrities, who freely gave their time, enjoyed a tremendous day of camaraderie, net-working, fun and fellowship.

 Rotary Club of Strathfield Golf Day and Dinner 2006

The Rotary Club of Strathfield, led by organiser extraordinaire, Rotarian Niall King, held another very successful Golf Day and Dinner in aid of the Trish Foundation on 16 February. This is the fifth successive year the Club has dedicated its annual fundraiser to the Foundation and the generous support of President George Hallworth, Niall King and all the members of the Rotary Club of Strathfield is very much appreciated.

St Andrews Uniting Church Longueville

St. Andrews Uniting Church Longueville dedicated their Fashion Parade to the Trish Foundation. $744.05 was raised for the Foundation's research and many packets of Christmas cards were also sold. THANK YOU to Jan Cartwright for organising the event and to St. Andrews Uniting Church Longueville.

Congratulations again Craig!

Following being awarded the prestigious Community Service Award from Ku-ring-gai Council, the Foundation’s Auctioneer, Craig Marshall Century 21 Cordeaux Marshall Gordon, has been awarded another prestigious honour. Craig has been honoured by being awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship by the Rotary Club of Lindfield. A Paul Harris Fellowship is awarded “in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world."

This honour is just reward for the enormous amount of community work Craig continues to give to many worthy causes and the Trish Foundation is fortunate to be one of the recipients of Craig’s significant support.

Support from The Great Mistake

Would you like to clear the clutter from your Wardrobe and obtain a tax deduction for your effort? Clothes, shoes and bags you no longer use can be sold and the proceeds donated to the Trish Foundation. Once your goods are sold a cheque will be sent to the Trish Foundation and you will be sent a tax deductible receipt.

Network North’s support of the Foundation

Network North Business Connection has adopted the Trish Foundation as its chosen charity, providing the Foundation with generous support and widespread opportunities.

Network North, founded by Denice Kelly and Kuen Huang, is a network group for business, professional and working women on the North Shore of Sydney. Since its relatively recent commencement, Network North has gone from strength to strength providing many significant opportunities to its members.

Athletics NSW

Sincere gratitude to Athletics NSW for dedicating the proceeds of their raffle at their Awards Dinner to the Trish Foundation. The generosity of the athletics community raised $1,160 for the Foundation’s research. Thank you to all those who contributed to this wonderful contribution to the pursuit of a cure for MS and to Greg Doyle, Chief Executive Officer of Athletics NSW.

Sydney Cricket Association

Sydney Cricket Association, Women’s Competition Sub-Committee, led by their Chairperson Jessica Henry, has again dedicated the proceeds of their raffle at the Premiers’ Dinner to the Trish Foundation. Roy and Carol Langsford attended the Premiers’ Dinner to present the Trish Langsford Shield. The generosity of the cricketing fraternity raised $870 for the Trish Foundation’s future research and the Foundation is very grateful for Sydney Cricket Association’s ongoing tremendous support.
