Rotary Club of Strathfield

The Foundation owes a huge debt of gratitude to Rotary Club of Strathfield, particularly chief organiser Niall King, for raising a further $20,000 towards the Foundation's research.

This is the third successive year the Club has dedicated its Golf Day and Dinner to the Trish Foundation. Organiser extraordinaire Niall, was fittingly honoured at the dinner by being awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellowship by the Club.

The award is 'in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among peoples of the world.'

The Foundation's heartfelt thanks to Niall King and the Rotary Club of Strathfield.

'Ride 4 Hope'

Having successfully completed their epic motor cycle ride, ‘We Ride 4 MS’ from Sydney to London through some of the most dangerous countries in the world, Ralph Dixon and Fionnuala Livingston are planning an even bolder journey. Ralph, who has MS, is planning ‘Ride 4 Hope’ which will take him and his son through Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, China, Mongolia, the very top of Russia, Siberia, across to Alaska, Canada and all mainland States.

Australian legend Betty Cuthbert is the patron of ‘Ride 4 Hope’. “I am only too pleased to be Patron and I wish Ralph all the best in his travel all around the world,” Betty said.
