'We Ride 4 MS' Gala Dinner 4 May 2002

Ralph Dixon and Fionnuala Livingston's 'We Ride 4 MS' Gala Farewell Dinner was a great success, $12,000 being raised for the Foundation's research. Six and Out played an enormous part in the success of the night and the Foundation is extremely grateful for their outstanding support in freely giving their time. Those present really enjoyed the fantastic music played by Richard Chee Quee, Brett Lee, Gavin Robertson, Brad McNamara and Phil Bowley (standing in for Shane Lee).

Gavin Robertson, who lost his grandfather to multiple sclerosis, gave an inspirational speech encouraging guests to generously support the Foundation.

The Foundation is also extremely grateful to Richard Ernster and Helping Hand Group. Thank you to Richard Chee Quee who introduced Helping Hand to the Foundation. Their contribution boosted the amount raised on the night significantly.  Thank you to guest artist Glen Doyle who accompanied Six and Out on his digeridoo. The unusual combination was widely applauded.

The Gala Farewell Dinner was attended by supporters far and wide who generously bid at auction and purchased raffle tickets. The Foundation is very appreciative of the tremendous support shown by those who attended.
