Bar Fundraiser

In 2010 Foundation Board member Sue Woodward organized
a ‘think tank’ of young tennis players at The Oaks, Neutral Bay.
The result was the formation of ‘tennis alumni’, led
by great supporters Cindy Dock and Bree Calderwood.

Cindy and Bree approached Troy and Suzannah McDonald,
owners of the Balcony Bar, Erskine Street in the city requesting support of the
Trish Foundation. Troy and Suzannah very
generously and readily agreed, the Balcony Bar Fundraiser held on 24th February
2011 being a great success.
Cindy and Bree, supported greatly by Sue Woodward, put
in a tremendous amount of time and effort and raised $5,000 for research.
Generous Sponsors Balcony Bar, Fox Sports,
Australian Turf Club Golden Slipper Day, RedBalloon, Head and Babolat made a
great contribution to the funds raised.
Fantastic contributors to the success of the
fundraiser included MCs Tanya Lee and Glenn Knox, singer Simon Rudston-Brown,
magician Jack Black, comedian Sasha Marx and our valued, hardworking
volunteers.

support of Troy and Suzannah at Balcony Bar,” said Foundation Chairman Carol

who attended and contributed to the funds raised for our research.”
