Incubator Grant awarded to Dr Gu

The Trish Foundation is pleased to announce, with very generous support from guests at the Trish MS Black and White Ball, who are making generous contributions, the following Incubator Grant has been approved for funding:

“Platelet derived microvesicles in Multiple Sclerosis: Characterising the role of platelet alpha granules and P2X7 receptor expression”, the Lay Title being, “Tiny circulating particles may be involved in the acute attack of MS”.

The Incubator Grant has been awarded to Dr Ben Gu, The Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health, Victoria.  Dr Gu’s Co-Investigators are Professor James Wiley, The Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health, Victoria, Associate Professor Mark Slee, Flinders University, SA and Ms Malgorzata Krupa, Flinders University, SA.
